`Warehouse Automation for Wholesale, Retail, and E-Commerce Operations`

Wholesale, retail, and e-commerce warehouses share a common set of operational pressures: SKU counts are high, order volumes fluctuate, fulfillment speed directly affects customer satisfaction, and returns create reverse-flow complexity.

QDITC provides scalable automation solutions that address the specific storage and picking challenges of distribution operations — from classified storage across multiple material types to multi-device redundancy that prevents a single equipment failure from affecting shipment timeliness.

Big data AI、 Technologies such as the Internet of Things are driving industry intelligence, with applications such as AI path planning and intelligent inventory management significantly improving efficiency.

The rise of cross-border e-commerce, social e-commerce, live streaming e-commerce and other models requires enterprises to expand their global market through multilingual support, supply chain collaboration and other means.

Industry Challenges

Retail Warehouse Challenges

Retail Warehouse Challenges

  • Storage space cannot keep pace with product line expansion — SKU count grows faster than floor area
  • Order fulfillment speed is too slow to meet delivery commitments during peak periods
  • Inventory levels fluctuate with demand, but the storage system has no dynamic allocation capability
  • Seasonal peaks and promotional events require rapid scaling that manual systems cannot support
  • Omnichannel distribution requires simultaneous management of store replenishment, online orders, and direct-to-consumer dispatch
  • High return rates create reverse logistics volume that the existing system was not designed to handle

Life Cycle

QDITC provides automation solutions configured to the specific storage and fulfillment profile of your operation — whether the primary challenge is storage density, pick accuracy, throughput volume, or equipment redundancy for operational continuity.

Equipment Management

1

Classified storage across material types — one integrated system

Small items are stored in vertical carousel units for rapid picking. Irregular materials are managed in VLM units for space-efficient access. Large-scale materials enter the high-bay ASRS for pallet-level storage and retrieval. All three storage types operate under the same WMS — one system, one inventory record.

2

Cross-device redundancy — no single point of failure

The same material type is distributed across multiple storage units. If one unit requires maintenance or is temporarily offline, fulfillment continues from the others without delay. Shipment timeliness is not dependent on any single piece of equipment.

3

Pick-to-light guidance — accurate picking at speed

All storage units are paired with pick-to-light and audio indicators driven by the integrated WMS. Operators receive precise pick location and quantity guidance for every order — reducing errors without reducing speed.
